“ I have almost lost faith in mall food. But I was pleasantly surprised at this new chain, featuring authentic Hunan dishes. Not that I know a lot about Hunan, but my family enjoyed every dish that we ordered. And mind you, everything on the menu looks good, and we had a hard time deciding which to order. The shrimp with vermicelli + garlic was awesome. The braised cuttlefish with pork belly stood out for my wife and my in-laws. The steamed eggs with minced meat and stir-fried okra with sambal hit the right notes. And there is so much more on the menu I wished I had the tummy space. Oh, shout-out to the passionate wait staff who seemed to know exactly what we needed at the right time. Service was on point and dishes were served very quickly. Even though we were given a 75min window for our table, we certainly didn't need more than 20mins to lap up our dishes. Will certainly be back to try out the other dishes. ”
“ Food was good, rice served hot, waiters very attentive and patient. Timely manner for all dishes to reach our table, definitely will come back to try out other dishes. Free ice cream too! ”
“ Wow! I’ve just got Changsa transported to me! Prompt service, good atmosphere and authentic as can be Hunan tummies. I was in Changsa last December and the dishes served here are authentic as those served there sweet & Sour chicken is great for children and adult; tender with the right amount of sauce. Power! Ace! ”
“ The food was delicious but oily as usual Chinese style. Free drinks while waiting for seat. Free ice cream and snacks. The service was superb. The waiter packed nicely for remaining food for us. Recommend to register as member to enjoy more promotion and discount. ”
“ Trying Hunan dishes for the first time. Kids love the lotus root soup. It was quite good. The star dish with the abalone, pork and capsicum was quite good. I wish it was slightly more spicy but overall is good. The sweet and sour chicken and pineapple was good. The texture of the chicken was yummy. For 2 adults and 2 kids, food is just nice. But the drinks probably need to QC. We ordered the lemonade and orange, both had very strong chlorine in the drinks. The exchange new ones for us so i would say good service. However, the new drinks still have the chlorine taste It’s a good tryout for us. Thank you for the experience. ”
“ No wait for a table but it did take 20-30mins for our food to come out. The stir fried beef with tea oil was spicy and tasty, but the grass fish with chili was more rubbery than anticipated. Not sure if it’s super fresh, but for that price, I think I expect fresher fish. Overall, my experience was ok, have been hearing a lot of hype over this place so that may have colored my expectations and judgement. ”
“ Very nice traditional China Chinese food. Nice atmosphere and service, the waiters are attentive even towards closing time. They assisted us for membership sign up which offers discounts (of 10%) on full bill. Found the nice lady very helpful. There is free flow ice cream as well! They offer a free item for review (but this review did not get the dianping as kitchen closed) :”) Would recommend! ”
“ 农耕记湖南菜 Nong Geng Ji @ Pavilion Bukit Jalil If you’re hunting for authentic Hunan flavors in KL, look no further for "Restaurant Nong Geng Ji" at Pavilion Bukit Jalil Mall, an authentic Hunan Cuisine gem that feels like a little slice of China right here in Malaysia. We ordered the "Stir-Fried Pork with Abalone and Chili" tender pork belly with that addictive smoky-spicy kick, elevated with abalone slices that made every bite worth every ringgit. The "Golden Coin Eggs with Green Chilies" was another standout...simple yet so tasty. Springy on the outside, soft inside, with a punch from the green chilies. It’s the kind of dish you keep reaching for without realizing you’ve cleaned the plate. Service was smooth and friendly, quick to recommend dishes without being pushy, and everything came out piping hot. Love that! Overall, it’s a place where you come for one meal and end up planning your next visit before you leave. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys bold, hearty, and truly authentic Hunan cuisine. ”
